Description

The Castel-Saint-Pierre municipal park is around 500 metres from the town centre. Access is free and parking is available at both entrances (56 or 83, rue des Ardennes).

This 27-hectare wooded estate offers a wide network of paths and footpaths for walking. The park is surrounded by perimeter walls, so you and your family can stroll around in complete safety.

The Castel-Saint-Pierre restaurant (83, rue des Ardennes) offers quality local cuisine. You can also enjoy a drink with friends or family.

A terrace (in season) lets you keep an eye on your children having fun on the playground next door.

A little higher up than the restaurant, you can discover the Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens chapel, which gives its name to the park. This building dates back to the 12th century.

Further on, you can admire the fallow deer, stags and wild boar in the small animal park.

Barbecues and picnic areas are available along the ponds, free of charge and without reservation (except for groups, who must make a written request to the local authority).

The Castel-Saint-Pierre park is also open to sporting activities, with a VITA track. It’s also a great place for jogging and mountain biking.
