Here is a brief summary of this artist’s artistic career:
“I began my artistic career by training in architecture at the ISAI in Mons for 5 years.
Then, in 2006, I started working with clay at the CEC workshop in Rochefort, run by Carole Mazier. I then continued my ceramic work at the Marche-en-Famenne fine arts school with Ana-Belen Montero.
2011: the desire to paint took hold of me again and I trained with Lise Ricaille, a painter from March.
That same year, I took part in the “Clothes and I” fashion show organised by the Marche-en-Famenne Cultural Centre with my group FILA.
In 2012, after my first exhibition in Durbuy, the Centre Culturel invited me to give painting lessons at their premises for 5 years.
Then, in 2015, the Centre Culturel de Marche-en-Famenne asked me to run a textile workshop. This would involve creating costumes for the play “la cité sans sommeil”.
Later, in 2016, the Centre Culturel d’Havelange offered me the chance to teach for 4 years.
Since 2021, I’ve been running painting and ceramics classes at my home in Durbuy.
My creations emerge from a meditative process. My canvases are inspired, colourful and alive.
Beauty, joy and the sacred are essential values that I let express themselves through shapes and colours, materials and volumes.
