
Danielle Belle-Josse exhibition
The Danielle Belle-Josse exhibition will be on show at the Beauraing Tourist Office from May 16 to May 28 2025. The works of this painter will be on display every day from 8.30am to 12pm and from 1pm to 5pm. Admission is free.

Over Danielle Belle-Josse..
Born in Carnières (Hainaut – Belgium) in 1940.
A self-taught painter, Danielle Belle-Josse has a marked preference for depicting children, because it has to be said that they were her focus of interest during her career as a teacher.
In her portraits of children in particular, but also in her depictions of scenes from everyday life, she gives a great deal of importance to the gaze:
‘You can keep your voice quiet or hold back a gesture, but you can’t hide your eyes’.
She has won a number of prestigious awards:
- Mos’art d’or from the town of Yvoir in 2005.
- Second prize for ‘Art Balade’ in Charleroi in 2004.
- First prize ‘Art Balade’ in Charleroi in 2005.
- International gold medal and special mention from the jury at the ‘Grand Prix International de Wallonie’ in 2005, 2006, 2007.
- International gold medal from the ‘Académie Européenne des Arts’ in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008.
- In 2009, Grand Prix – Médaille de Vermeil of the ‘Académie Européenne des Arts’.

Life member of the ‘Académie Européenne des Arts’.
And Member of the Cultural Association ‘Au-delà des Mots’.
